B.Sc. [FAD] provides skills in each facade of designing and merchandising. This course begins with giving instruction to students on the basics of design and fashion. Later it takes them on an education journey of vast proportion. This detailed fashion and apparel designing course covers basic design elements of space, shape, from and line to colors systems, dimension of color, color harmony, influences on color perception, color forecast, fabric design, fashion illustration, composition, stylization, drawing for promotion, illustration garments and detailing. A degree holder of this course will be a sought after fashion designer with enviable skills. The student will be free to pursue a highflying independent career or be a part of any prestigious multinational apparel company.

DURATION : Three-year, regular undergraduate degree course affiliated to Bangalore University.

a) Admission to I semester B.Sc.FAD: 10+2 any discipline
